Fruska Gora

Our vineyards are located in Banostor village, on northern slopes of Fruška Gora Mountain, facing the Serbian stretch of the Danube River on the edge of Fruška Gora national park. We currently cultivate 12ha of organically treated vineyards, from 2023 we have received EU certificate for both grapes and wines. Our soil is very diverse, mostly composed of cambisol and vertisol clays with presence of volcanic rocks, limestone and marl. Such soil is permeable and rich in nutrients and very easy to cultivate. Grapes are handpicked with low yield of approximately 2.7 hl/ha. Our vineyards benefit from the influence of the Danube River (biggest river in Europe), receiving a second sun reflection which prevents a freeze in the winter, and provides a cool breeze in the summer. Based on 140-220 m.a.s.l, with more than 2,200 sunny hours annually and enough rain, we have everything necessary to provide the grapes for an excellent wine.

In the cellar, we work under low-intervention principles, using only a little bit of sulphur prior bottling. Fermentation is exclusively on natural yeasts and without additional intervention in the cellar. We are a part of RAW and Karakterre societies, and we follow French ‘’Vin Méthode Nature’’ charter. Our philosophy in wines is balance and elegance – believing in using natural principles to produce clean wines of character and clarity that express the terroir from which his grapes come.
